Fun, family and friends, three words to describe Kellie and Clinton’s wedding at Cradle Mountain. From the first time I met them I gained a deep sense of thier strength of character, love and loyalty to each other and their family. After a few adjustments to the wedding plan, Cradle Mountain was the agreed destination. With a backdrop of mountains, good friends and a good time, Kellie and Clinton were married and I was lucky enough to be hired as their photographer to go along for the ride!
For Kellie and Clinton it was important for me to punctuate their wedding images with plenty of photos of their children. Some of my favourites from the day are the portraits of their two children. Images of Kellie in her suite with her Bridesmaids helping her prepare are also stand outs for me, a nice little moment captured unobtrusively. A portrait of Clinton in a great red chair downstairs at Cradle Mountain Lodge is another moment that I am happy I captured. I saw the chair sitting by the window as I raced towards the stairs for the ceremony, camera bag slung over my shoulder. I thought to myself that I should get a photo of Clinton there, and later in the evening during the reception I convinced him to sneak away for a couple of minutes, I am glad I did…
