Charles photographed our wedding. When we received our photos back in such a quick turn around time, we were speechless. Charles captured our wedding and displayed the photos as if he was telling our story. Charles did not make us pose for photos and we felt very comfortable. We are so so lucky to have found such a talented and wonderful photographer. Highly recommend!!

Very professional !! easy to be around, offers unlimited time !! 100% attention on you and your wedding day, talking to Charles put me at ease and gave me confidence in knowing he really knows his profession, and how to tell our story through stills.

Wow! How do I find the words to describe the amazing and remarkable work of Charles Millen?
He was absolutely the best choice we could have possibly made. From the very moment we met Charles, we liked him. His kind, easy going personality made us feel so comfortable and at ease in front of the camera, while his wonderful attention to detail resulted in some of the best photographic work I have seen.
Charles put in 110% towards photographing our special day, from travelling between locations, braving wet and stormy weather, and remaining until he was certain he had captured every significant moment. The final product of his work certainly validates this effort.
I could not recommend Charles Millen highly enough. We are very, very satisfied customers!

‘Thank you so so much for your beautiful work!
The pictures and story of the day came together better than we could have ever have imagined! We’ve been beaming from ear to ear for the last 24hrs looking at our pictures.
Highly recommend Charles. He really understood our personalities and made everything feel very relaxed and natural. He captured all the little details that were important to us and was so accommodating.’

Married in the beautiful gardens of Corinda House in Hobart which afforded us ample opportunities to capture the story of the day. From the historic setting of Corinda House itself to the distinctive Hobart waterfront precinct. We had some fun playing with light and shadow together.

A ceremony on a balcony overlooking native Tasmanian highland forest followed by a bus ride to Cradle Mountain for the Bridal party shoot. Bright sunshine, wombats and of course the grandeur of Cradle Mountain provided and extraordinary backdrop for this rustic alpine wedding.

Nestled up against the Great Western Tiers just out of Mole Creek in Tasmania was a wedding to behold. Dramatic cobalt blue clouds shrouded the mountains and fields of rolling green grassland framed the wedding beautifully.

Cressy was the destination for this rural wedding. The ceremony was held in a small chapel on the family property, with the reception held right next to the grand family homestead.

The incredibly charming Stonefield Estate in Brighton, Tasmania.    Heritage sandstone buildings surrounded by beautiful gardens provided the backdrop.

Sandridge Estate near Boat Harbour in the North West of Tasmania was a pleasure to photograph this down to earth couple. A rock Quarry, rustic shed for the the reception, and an incredible vista to explore provided the perfect backdrop.

Grindlewald just out of the city of Launceston was where this Bride arrived to be married in a horse drawn cart. Following that was a Bridal party shoot that involved jumping on a gigantic pillow! Fun, adventurous and beautiful golden evening light framed this couple in love.

Stonesthrow in Launceston with its sloping gardens was where the ceremony was held. We spent some time afterwards exploring the estate together. Capturing a variety of images that told their story of love and laughter.

A day filled with love and laughter on King Island. I had the privilege of being invited to fly over and document this special day. Bright sunshine, rolling hills and wind sculptured coastline framed this wedding perfectly.

An engagement session at the Bay of Fires, followed by a session in Launceston. A dramatic setting sun lighting the grass like fire, City Park and Inveresk for contrast.

Hanna & Ryan

Rain, sleet and Cradle Mountain shrouded in mist couldn’t stop the love of Hanna and Ryan shining through. Shadow and moss mottled forests, mirrored lakes and button grass plains framed this session for a brave Singaporean couple that are more accustomed to tropical warmth!
